Valentine Roses
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Tissue
Masking tape
Pipe cleaners
Green tempura paint
Ribbon
Cut tissue paper in strips 2" wide and 18" long.
Have child roll the tissue paper lightly to form the rose and pinch the bottom of the tissue paper to make the stem of the rose.
Take a pipe cleaner and hold it to the "pinched" part of the rose. Use masking tape to adhere the pipe cleaner to the rose, like a stem.
Have child paint the marking tape green to match the stem of the rose.
Repeat as necessary until bouquet is complete. Tie a ribbon around the stems to form bouquet.
