Time Capsule Craft

Get a large coffee tin, or jar.  Construction Paper, Glitter, anything you want to decorate the outside of tin/jar.  2 things you do need to put on the outside, it the year your making the capsule, and the year you want it open.

On the inside here are some ideas as to what to put in the "capsule"

• Photos of you,your family, friends, animals. Or simply photos, of how the town you live you looks at the time.
• A newspaper clipping, of a major event from that year.
• A CD of your favorite songs, or popular songs that year.
  
• Something trendy or "in style" at the time.
  
• Movie Ticket Stubs, or movie theater times clipping from the newspaper
  
• Concert Stubs, or mention of it the newspaper
• A note to who ever may open it (even if it is you) Talking about yourself, your family, etc.
  
• Anything else you can think of from that year.
  

When your done, use glue or tape to seal the top. You might want to wrap the whole thing in a plastic bag or something to keep moisture from doing any damage.  Finally, take it some place safe where it will not be found for years to come.
