MoonPie Gooblers
What You Need:
1 large Moon Pie (1 per gopbler/Turkey)
1 popsickle stick per moon pie
A bag of candy corn
Mini oreo cookies
Mini chocolate chips (the real tiny ones)
Some type of frosting to hold oreo cookies on.
What To Do:
Place the popsickle stick into the the moon pie in one end. (DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH) Use the candy corn to place around the top of the moon pie for the feathers (for this part I would use the carmal apple candy corn). Then use the orginal candy corn piece break off the white part and place in the center of the moon pie for the beak, placing the small strip of red twizzler underneath it. (Or use the red frosting gel). This is the part I have the most trouble with. Twist the oreos apart to were ALL the frosting is on one side. Place a small amount of the frosting on the back and stick to the moon pie for one eye, and place the mini chocolate chip in the center. Then repeat for the other eye.
This was thought up by us when looking at pictures of our son's Halloween Party, and he had a pumpkin moon pie. We thought about doing the same thing except making it a Turkey looking moon pie, and call it Moon Pie Goobler.. I am sure it is not an orginal idea, but hey!
