Confetti Tubes
This is fun for children of all ages, especially children who don't get to stay up till midnight, to bring in the new year.
Supplies need
Toilet Paper Roll Rube
Ribbon
Decorative paper (to wrap the tube in)
Store bought or home made confetti
Home made confetti can be made by taking a hole puncher, and punching holes in sheets of color constructions paper. Collect the punched circles up and use them in place on confetti.
Take the confetti and fill up the toilet paper tubes, with it (you can also you paper towel tubes). Wrap up the tubes in decorative paper, using the ribbons to tie the ends. Place them on the dinner table. After dinner, or when the ball drops, depending on you, shout HAPPY NEW YEAR! Ripping open the the tubes. So you and everyone around can enjoy throwing confetti on each other.. (Perhaps this should be done outside, or a that is easy to clean up)
